Data Protection Notice
This text is a draft and will be reviewed by legal counsel before it takes effect.
This notice is provided by Nitrom Express to inform you about the processing of your personal data, in accordance with Article 10 of Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK) and the related communiqué on the fulfilment of the obligation to inform.

Personal Data We Process
For courier applications we process identity data (first name, surname, date of birth), contact data (phone, e-mail, residential address), travel data (passport number, passport expiry date, countries visited, valid visas), a face verification photograph of a biometric nature, and a criminal record document. For quote requests we process only your name or company, e-mail address, the selected service and your message.
Purposes of Processing
Your data is processed in order to carry out recruitment and candidate assessment, to perform the legal eligibility and security checks required for courier duties, to assess travel eligibility for international shipments, to record your acceptance of the agreement, and to respond to customer enquiries.
Legal Grounds
Processing is based on the grounds that it is directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract, that the data controller must fulfil a legal obligation, and the controller's legitimate interest. Special categories of data such as the biometric face verification photograph and the criminal record document are processed solely on the basis of your explicit consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
Transfers
Your personal data is not shared with third parties, not transferred abroad and not used for marketing. The data is hosted on Nitrom Express's own server; no external cloud or analytics provider is used. Disclosure may occur only to the extent required by law, upon a legally valid request from the competent authorities.
Retention Period
Application data is kept for at most 12 months after the recruitment process concludes, after which it is deleted or anonymised. If you are hired, the data is retained for the period required by employment legislation. Quote requests are kept for at most 24 months.
Data Security
The documents you upload are stored in a directory that is not exposed to the internet and has restricted access; they can be viewed only by authenticated authorised personnel. Connections are encrypted with TLS and passwords are stored only as irreversible hashes.
Your Rights
Under Article 11 of the KVKK you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed, to request information if it has been processed, to learn the purpose of processing, to know the third parties to whom it has been transferred domestically or abroad, to request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate, to request erasure or destruction, to request that such action be notified to third parties to whom the data was transferred, to object to an adverse outcome arising from automated analysis, and to claim compensation if you suffer damage.
